About Westside Church
Westside Church of Redding is an Evangelical Free congregation located in the foothills of West Redding, across from Grant Elementary School. The term Evangelical refers to our commitment to the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to the Bible as being inerrant, infallible, and therefore trustworthy in all it teaches in any subject it addresses. The term Free refers to our form of church government which assures that our local churches are free from a controlling body. Our worship service offers sound Biblical teaching through expository preaching, a blended / contemporary music style, weekly observation of the Lord’s Supper, and many wonderful opportunities for fellowship. Westside Church is a caring, friendly church home. We strive to be a warm and welcoming congregation. So whether you have grown up in church, or if you have never been to church in your life, you are welcome here to start or keep growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Goal Of Westside Church
The goal of Westside Church of Redding is to evangelize to unbelievers and edify and equip believers in three ways:

- Leading unbelievers to know and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
- Helping believers to grow in their faith and bear spiritual fruit.
- Encouraging faithful witness and ministry through obedience to the Great Commission.
